Being environmentally conscious folk, we’ve been taking measures to decrease the amount of waste generated from our build.  Among other strategies, this can mean considering where we can use leftover materials in other parts of the build and being creative in reusing packaging our items were shipped in.  To illustrate, many of our materials have come wrapped in plastic.  I’ve been cutting and stapling/taping this plastic into trash bags–both large bags for our tiny house build trash, and small bags for our regular household trash.  Waste not, want not.  🙂
