One evening, while Eli and I were taking our daily sunset stroll around our yard, we got a wild hare (hair?) to tear the protective film off of all the windows (well, the lower-level ones my mom had finished sealing the wood with polyurethane) – we just wanted to see how awesome they would look without it and with most of the siding done, well, we just got impatient!
Windows with protective film still on
Protective film removed on lower windows
A mid-day view
The bay window is going to rock
Look at that view! So clear!
The view restricting film and stickers still on the upper windows
Look how much better the windows look with the fim removed
It makes the windows look so much better

Then, while Eli was away, I decided I had to install some of the screens to keep the excitement over the windows going.
Bay window screens
Had to remove the shipping protection bits
Bay window screen installed
Kitchen window screen installed
The screen cuts down on the clarity of the view, which is sad
Screen close up from inside
Screen close up from outside
No screen (left window) and screen (right window) comparison
From another view
The little things that make is seem more like house and less like a construction site. 🙂
